With years of experience in the industry, in 2007 we started capping staircases for homeowners. The Stairscap Master is designed to meet the highest standards of safety and durability, ensuring that our customers receive the best value for their money.

The idea of transforming existing low quality builder grade staircases into high quality hardwood stairs was a novel idea and very few installers were doing it at that time.

For boxed staircases (stringers on both sides) was especially difficult cutting to perfectly fit the new stair treads. It was a slow and meticulous job that was not always perfect, leaving gaps on the sides of the stair treads and risers.

Not able to find anything on the market we invented a Staircap Master. The tool we created was capable of tracing the exact pattern between stringers including any curvature that most stringer has. The process was efficient that it required only one trip to the saw. It traces a perfect fit every single time.
